Friends of RTP,
Christian men (or women who have the means…I.e. firepower….and in extreme circumstances) have a Biblical duty to come to the assistance of a lawful police officer who is trying to properly bring peace to a situation and who may find himself being overwhelmed by a crowd of violent reprobates. (Yes, help may be on the way, but it could be too late for him.) A retired Sheriff friend once told me that such was not unheard of in the 1970s here in rural Iowa…especially if a lone deputy had stopped a carload of troublemakers and a local farmer came by and saw the deputy had his hands full or may be in a life threatening situation. Yes, I understand about legal liability for getting involved these days, but the day is well upon us that we not be restrained from works of righteousness in fear of the God-less courts….their day of accountability will be coming too.
On the reverse side, I’ve watched too many videos of police abuse on internet sites to not do you a favor and offer this link - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2000050205+4027&name=%2475+-+%24100
It is time we purchase a small Hi-Def Digital Camcorder for under $100 (there are better ones that are more expensive at this site too), become familiar with its operations, keep it charged up and stick it in the glove box of your car. Whenever stopped by a police officer or whenever you see police officers using excessive force…pull your camera out and record it. (If you are the driver and have a passenger with you, hand him/her the camera and ask them to point and shoot.)
If you are stopped by an officer like one of our family member’s, who strives to honor God’s law and the Constitution, you can later use the recording as a positive illustration for friends and family as to how an officer is truly supposed to conduct himself when pursuing an alleged infraction of the law.
But in your own case or even that of a complete stranger’s case - who is seriously being abused by officers – your video may in fact, turn the tables on the oppressors. I’ve seen recordings of this very thing in Denver, NYC, Wisconsin, etc. What really disturbs me is that the evangelical church has such an idolatrous view of the government (which is not Biblical) that they leave the protesting of such incidents of tyranny to the ACLU, liberals and leftists. They demonstrate no balance in Biblical justice, they dishonor Christ with their silence, and they do nothing to evangelize to the lost by standing up in the public square and for Biblical justice. Let us not refrain from acting justly in such matters.
And in the first case above - regarding the righteous officer – if you have to get involved, your liability could be greatly reduced by the same operating camera.

Here's your chance to let the media know where the people stand on our faith in God, as a nation. NBC is taking a poll on "In God We Trust" to stay on our American currency. Please send this to every person you know so they can vote on this important subject. Please do it right away, before NBC takes this off the web page. Poll is still open so you can vote. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10103521/ ============================================================
If you don't like exclusion of viable and godly candidates from the debates and forums, please contact Saddleback Church as instructed below. Here's what I sent to CFR member and globalist Rick Warren: Dear Rick Warren, Why did you not invite the true American Constitutional Statesman and Presidential Candidate, Chuck Baldwin to your forum? Or did I answer my own question? Reply still requested. Thank you, Ruth From: suzanne.brownlow@comcast.net To: ; Subject: Rev. Chuck Baldwin, presidential candidate, neglectfully excluded from debate at Saddleback Church Date: Sat, 16 Aug 2008 08:40:30 -0800 Chuck Baldwin was not invited to this Christian debate! http://saddleback.com/flash/ and http://saddlebackcivilforum.com/index.html It is today, and too late to try to get him in. But, it is not too late to complain. There is absolutely no reason why a Christian (on the ballot) candidate, Chuck Baldwin, could not have been invited to participate in this debate that will be held today at a Christian church! The two candidates that were invited hold no where near the grand faith and exemplary Christian life of Chuck Baldwin. He should have had a chance to speak to the Christians! This continual debate blockouts that non-R or D candidates have is tragic -- to the candidates and the voters.First, please write to Rev. Rick Warren at info@saddleback.com; and tell him how neglectful he was to ignore the Rev. Chuck Baldwin in this debate. Then, write a letter to the editor of your newspaper: http://www.usnpl.com/ condemning the blockout and encouraging inclusion of Chuck Baldwin and other worthy candidates for election debates.
Thank you for your efforts to retore...

Casualties of War: WomenPosted by Kathryn Muratore at www.LewRockwell.com on August 14, 2008 04:30 PMNot surprisingly, women who served in Iraq are a physical and emotional mess, according to researchers at the University of Michigan. By identifying problems early, I hope our findings will guide policy-makers and health care professions to design interventions to support service members and their families.I have a great idea for an intervention: End the War! From: rtp@iowatelecom.net To: rtp@iowatelecom.net Subject: Yesterday: McCain open to pro-abort VP Today: Huckabee says he'll support McCain regardless of who is VP! Date: Thu, 14 Aug 2008 18:47:40 -0500 Friends of RTP,
McCain is open to a pro-abort running mate! See below.
Who couldn’t see this coming a mile away? Especially knowing McCain’s miserable “pro-life” record.
National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) was set up by the population controllers as a “loyal opposition group” to defuse and distract those holding to Christian/Biblical sexual morality in the late 1960s. It’s an old Communist trick. Study the history of Father James T. McHugh and his fundamental role in the late 1960s in setting up NRLC. He was instrumental in establishing NRLC as then director of the Family Life Division of the U.S. Catholic Conference and while engaging in his companion work as an Advisory Committee Member of the American Association of Sex Educators and Counselors, a front group for the nefarious SIECUS (Sex Information & Education Council of the U.S.) McHugh, later to become a New Jersey Bishop (in a diocese known to be especially populated with homosexual priests) worked side by side with Planned Parenthood’s chief of medical staff, Mary Calderone on the AASEC board in the late 1960s - to sexualize American youth. He succeeded in invading and destroying the sexual morals of most in the Catholic schools in America. Don’t trust me, read the orthodox Catholic laity groups who’ve been documenting this stuff for years. By the late 1970s NRLC had rejected a request to condemn contraception and class-room-sex-talk in the schools. Ask Dr. Jacqueline Kasun (Oregon economist) of the spurned yet well-founded appeal several scholars made to NRLC’s national board to oppose contraception and classroom-sex-talk – the fuel that starts the abortion fire. NRLC rejected their appeals in the late 1970s. The result: a generation or two of sexualized American students, many of which are now self-absorbed, adolescent-minded adults raising unbridled and often deviant children.
If NRLC or their state affiliates declare someone is pro-life - that really means he’s the chief political panderer of those alarmed by murdered babies and perverted young people. Marlys Popma, (who I knew at Dordt College as feminist Marlys DeWitt) played a significant role in establishing the Iowa chapter of Right to Life Committee in Iowa after the once outstanding group Iowans for Life saw NRLC’s agenda for what it was and severed their relationship with NRLC. After Iowans for Life broke from NRLC, Popma then helped NRLC get a new state chapter started in Iowa. The inbound money from national, I imagine, was such that Iowans for Life couldn’t compete. Iowans for Life has been little heard from since their late 1970s - early 1980s hay-days when their founders were throwing pro-abort U.S. Senators out of office. (I.e. Gov. Culver’s father.)
I truly believe that if National Right to Life had not compromised the Iowa pro-life movement in the 1980s that Iowans for Life’s PAC (unifying the state on a no compromise position) could have thrown Tom Harkin out of office a long time ago. Alas’!
Today Popma pockets healthy consulting fees trying to peddle any Republican who will write her checks. She was pro-abort John McCain’s state coordinator in last year’s Presidential caucus last year. (Oh and one of NRLC’s continuing practices is to keep lowering the ethical bar as to what is pro-life and then keep pronouncing the chief panderer’s as “pro-life” - as long as they meet their continually lowered limbo bar. One day soon, I hope, these folks will all fall flat on their back.)

Now today we learn, Mike Huckabee told CNN Political Ticker he “will support the Republican ticket, no matter who the vice presidential candidate is.” http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/ And who couldn’t see this coming a mile away? With former Governor Huckabee’s appointment of 100% pro-abort, Carolyn Pollan, to his staff as `legislative liaison’ why would we be surprised that he’ll support McCain, even if he chooses a pro-abort VP?
Now that we know McCain and Huckabee, in principle, are open to a pro-abort VP let’s call upon Iowa Family Policy Center’s Chuck Hurley, Iowa Network of Christian Home Educators President Scott Bailey, WHO radio’s Steve Deace, former Iowa gubernatorial candidate Bob Vander Plaats, all Iowa (Huckabee) pastors and all other evangelical leaders who supported Huckabee to repent of their public, foolish and poor judgment - in the face of great evidence to the contrary, which most of them refused to hear - when they aggressively promoted Mike Huckabee in the Iowa caucuses last year. If they already have repented, praise the Lord and send me evidence of it and I’ll forward it on to others. If they haven’t, please feel free to forward this email across the state of Iowa.
